Artifact: SUNY Cortland Swimming

Date: Fall 2009

Reflection: I have been swimming for eight years and succeeded in motor skill performance. I participated in the NJCAA Swimming and Diving League to the Regional and National Swim Meets for two years, and placed at both meets, along with many others. I am competent in swimming freestyle, butterfly, breast stroke, and back stroke. Since I am competent in these strokes, I am also able to teach swim lessons, and coach youth swimmers starting their career. This artifact is important to my development as a teacher because I will be able to teach and coach swimming in my curriculum proficiently.
